About

Welcome to my Fallout fansite! My name is bun, I'm a queer, nonbinary writer and artist. I'm usamerican, white, and old enough to know better. I work full time and when I'm not wasting my life away on a "good career," I can be found gaming, crocheting, cooking (when I have the energy), watching movies, and various other commonly nerdy pastimes. I love animals so! fucking! much! Rabbits are my favorite.

I got into Fallout in 2017, after a really bad breakup. My heart was shattered, and so I did what any mentally ill gaymer would do and found something to help me escape the pain. That something was Fallout 4. I made my first Sole Survivor, had a baby, watched my husband get murdered, lost my baby, and stumbled into the Wasteland with no idea what I was getting into. When Skeeter Davis crooned "don't they know/its the end of the world/it ended when I lost your love," it truly felt as if she was singing directly to my own broken heart. Here was a game that understood. Understood what, exactly? I'm still trying to articulate that, which is perhaps what all my fallout art and writing has been about since. I have also played Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, which both hold places of honor in my "favorite games" lists, but nothing will come close to that first time I played Fallout 4.
